During my tenure as Head of Corporate affairs, I drove strategic initiatives for internal and external communication, PR and media management; strengthened the company's brand image and perception through social, digital and traditional media avenues. Led a team of over 70 Professionals including GMs, DGMs and AGMs distributed across head office and various other SAIL units across India. Led the marketing communication strategy and execution for SAIL and all its events, including Golden Jubilee Celebrations, Inauguration and other ceremonies by Prime Minister of India. I handled all Public Affairs and communication with and for ministries and government bodies. Designed content for internal communication, drove initiatives to improve communication at plants; organised capability building trainings on communication. Published inhouse journals, brochures and coffee table books. Led media planning and buying for publications, recruitment advertisements, and ad campaigns; managed development of Film, Infographics, Posters, Leaflets and Display collaterals for various campaigns. Authored and delivered content for management’s messages, Annual Report, AGM Speech Booklet, Sustainability Report, in-house publications, product brochures pamphlets, manuals and all other communication going out to employees, customers and government. Built and maintained contacts with National, Vernacular and International Media; prepared talking points, speeches, and authored articles for senior management for publication in national newspapers and in magazines; product launches, expansion events and crisis mitigation.I am also recognized for multiple projects - Conferences at various locations to increase steel consumption in India; Communication conclave for over 50 Executive Directors for identifying issues and sensitizing leadership. Sports events including Golf, Football, Hockey among others to increase visibility of SAIL and ensured employee involvement and motivation.
