• Comprehensive knowledge of building materials, including [Cable Tray, Trunking, Ladders, GRP Trays, Conduit Pipes, Pipe Hangers, Struct System & Supports, Cable cleats, etc.,] Putting together technical instructions for customers in relation to the use, operation, and maintenance of purchased products• Proactively identify and pursue new projects and business opportunities within the assigned territory or market segment.• Conduct meetings with clients to understand their needs, discuss technical requirements, and present solutions tailored to their specific project requirements.• Generate and qualify leads, respond to inquiries, and follow up on potential sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting customer budget constraints and project deadlines.• Provide technical clarifications and product recommendations to clients, addressing any questions or concerns to ensure a thorough understanding of the proposed solution.• Prepare and submit submittals and proposals to clients, including technical specifications, drawings, and product samples, to facilitate project approval and procurement.• Work closely with engineering and product development teams to obtain product approvals for projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and customer specifications.• Define and negotiate payment terms with clients, managing contract negotiations and ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure on-time delivery of products and services, meeting customer delivery requirements and project timelines.• Follow up with clients post-sale to provide ongoing support, address any issues or concerns, and identify opportunities for additional sales or upselling.

• Receive and direct Inquiries from clients, through email, phone, or through the sales team• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate product information and assisting with any questions or concerns.• Prepare and submit quotations to customers in a timely manner, ensuring pricing accuracy and competitiveness.• Contact clients / customers before quoting for further questions or clarification, and for follow up after quotations• Generate and process sales orders, invoices, and other documentation accurately and efficiently using CRM and ERP systems.• Liaise with the production and later the logistics departments to ensure timely deliveries• Generate Invoices and delivery notes, get the proper approvals, signatures and acknowledgment• Maintain customer records and update databases with relevant information, including contact details, order history, and special requests.• Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
