• Compilation of documents for the Handover of works• Creating transmittals and issue Client and subcontractors.• Document management using IDMS (Integrated Data Management System), Software used for the Document such as drawings, vendor data, datasheet etc. • Filing of Engineering drawings and documents including Vendor documents.• Receiving drawings and document revisions from various departments replace the superseded revisions by new ones and keep the superseded documents accessible for information.• Provide copies of the latest revision to discipline groups and Subcontractors as required by distribution schedule as fast as possible.• Handling incoming letters, Transmittals Technical Documents, etc.• Checking the documents for Document No., Rev No. errors that will result in a document's disqualification.• Validate the information contained in the document, as well as ensure that the document and any other files submitted with it are approved by the appropriate superiors.• Classifying the documents into their respective categories and loading them into Documentum and generating internal transmittal and sending the documents to the respective construction site.• Manage all project drawings and documents at a Central Repository • Loading the Documents like (Drawings, Datasheets, Material Sheet and Calculations etc.) in EDMS-Documentum. • Responsible for monitoring the distribution and use of process and reference documents.• Co-ordination with other Department and Engineering Contractor / Consultant & Vendor for Documentation related matters.
