Why should I be your connection? I am a jack of all trades who is trying to be a walking encyclopedia. I have an interest and an opinion on everything but at the same time I am mature enough to keep an open mind. Having said that, I listen more than I talk because I value every opinion and ensure that I treat the opinion and the speaker with respect.Just like anyone, I try to work on myself to become the best version of 'Rakesh' by reading books (I have read both 'The monk who sold his Ferrari' and 'Half girlfriend'), watching news regularly (ET Now and Al Jazeera) and by trying to clear CFA.I did not benefit from my course at school so I am thankful I had mature and smart friends who had very productive habits which I really admired and adopted. I found my calling in the world of finance which explains how I ended up in Deloitte. I am an Analyst in the Risk and Financial Advisory business where I try to be Sherlock Holmes (even though I am nowhere close to being a detective) and try to find a solution to every question/problem even when there is nothing to be found.
