A result oriented, skillful IT professional with hands-on experience in championing business process improvements; accomplished in identifying and deploying cost-effective, value-added IT solutions – all while delivering excellent services. I am a creative and motivated Information and Communications Technology specialist and a team leader with more than 25 years of work experience. One of my major achievements is the new IT Infrastructure setup at NCAER, establishing a Data Centre in the newly built 1,00,000 Sq. feet office building and a conference building with a 150-person capacity. The setup offers a 10G Backbone connectivity, seamless wireless connectivity across the buildings, Unified Communications and Collaboration, CCTV surveillance amongst of other ultra-modern features. Another highlight of this endeavour led by me is ensuring redundancy at all levels of the network infrastructure and high-end servers to manage huge datasets to assist the large-scale research projects in the institution. The migration of on-premises email services to the cloud-based platform Office 365 in November 2021 was achieved under my leadership. The development and deployment of a New NCAER website project in October 2022 is one of my recent accomplishments.I am presently heading the Information Technology Team at NCAER, the oldest and largest think tank in the country. The team manages the IT service at the office campus which includes two multi storied buildings and a big conference center. CAPI enabled large scale household surveys, website and other communication channels, A/V, biometric access controllers and other services.
