Dr. Vij is dynamic professional and well recognized leader with 35+ years of experience in various facets of E & P industry mainly in exploration, exploitation and production management of oil and gas fields of India with specializations in reservoir engineering & management, asset management, production engineering ,water flooding and production optimization techniques.Trained in MDI Gurgaon, IIM Bangalore and various management schools of European countries. He was associated with M/s McKinsey during CRC campaign.Presently associated with PP-2030 in YTD plan where significant oil production is expected by following stage gate processes in association with M/S BCG. In his recent assignment at Ahmedabad Asset as Sub-surface manager one of the biggest Onshore Asset, aggressive technology induction in the form of horizontal well, hydro-fracturing are being pursued and few marginal field like Nardipur, Mahelaj and Wamaj were developed at fast pace. During last two – three years, around 50MMt of hydrocarbon have been accredited due to focus efforts in exploration & exploitation.He is active member of Society of Petroleum Engineer since last 29 years and have organized numbers of conferences in Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and India. Presently “Program Chairperson” of India Section and also a member of technical committee, steering committee, OGIC India & ATW on Water Flooding, Reservoir Management, Asset Management & rejuvenation of Matured Brown Field. He has worked in Corporate Planning and responsible for formulating long term strategies for the Company in exploration.Dr Vij is Master black belt of Six Sigma-USA , mentor of geo-scientists & has traveled across the globe for international exposure.Dr Vij has been awarded for my various accomplishments in the organization among others, award from Honorable President of India, Vice-President of India, CMD & Directors of ONGC etc.
