Responsible for optimising iron ore resources, directional mine planning, preparation of life of asset plans for Corporate Alignment Process. Conducted various strategic projects and high level mine design and scheduling work.

Managed tech service department, main responsibilities to look after short, medium and long term mine planning , surveying, quality control , reconciliation, operational business plan, budgets , costs and overheads . Overseeing and managing mining study for phase 3 expansion project including pit optimisation, geo technical, topographic survey work. Also responsible of preparing the drilling and blasting plan. Provided leadership, motivated employees and arranged training to build up an efficient and effective multinational and cultural workforce. Responsible for the production reporting and analysis and communicating these results to the relevant departments. Achievements• Implementing a successful Risk Management and OHS programme improving the safety and wellbeing of company personnel.• Involved in creating an OHS committee that regularly looked at continuous improvement and the ongoing safety of the workforce. Implemented process and procedure that ensured OHS policies were regularly audited and remained compliant.• Achieved the budget targets for the FY2004 and FY2005. Optimized the haul road profiles, waste & ore volumes, slopes, equipment utilization norms which resulted in the above achievements. • Designed & developed annual mine plan for the year 2004 & 05. In the year 2004, 100% target achieved, in the year 2005, Zod mine was on target & working as per the business plan prepared by my team.• Minimised the ore dilution by reducing the ore bench height to 5 m from 10m. • Maintained the mine operating cost under budget by meeting the KPI’s set by the management.

Engaged in identification, appraisal, planning & development of new projects both within & outside the country. Preparation of Pre-feasibility study of mining projects, ore body modelling, mine model, development strategy & mine scheduling with the use of Datamine & NPV Scheduler, selection of mining technology, equipment planning, capital cost estimates & financial evaluation.
