* IIT Kharagpur was established in 1951 and is recognised as an Institute of National Importance and later the Institute of Eminence in 2019. Academic capabilities have expanded to include offerings in management, law, architecture, humanities, and other fields. * Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL) was established in 2006 in the IIT Kharagpur system to integrate technology and law in order to develop IP professionals and lawyers with expertise in dealing with legal issues at the intersection of technology and law. * Selected for the NPTEL Winter Internship 2022 programme to work on a patent search and analysis project using a number of different patent databases and the paid Questel-Orbit database under the direction of Prof. M. Padmavati, IIT Kharagpur.

IIPTA is a prominent global platform for IP services and education by FICCI, CII, and IIT, Delhi, where training was provided for the interpretation of technical and scientific data from patent documents to summarize and produce clear and concise data as well as the identification of the advantages and applications of invention under the guidance of Ms. Cheshta Sharma, Director, IIPTA and IP Professional.Role: Patent Analyst Intern* Patent Laws: Proficient in Indian and up-on in US, EU Patent Laws.* Patentability Search: Evaluates an invention's novelty and works with inventors to prepare a patent application. * Prior Art search: Identified and evaluated Prior Art using a variety of databases, including WIPO, USPTO, EPO, Google Patents, inPASS, Questel Orbit and conducting searches for Infringement, Landscape, Freedom To Operate, Validity, and Non-Patent Literature.* Trademark and Copyright: Comprehensive grasp on concept and application process for TM and Copyright.* Patentability search report prepared on solid soap composition of PCT/GB2017/052136.

* I worked on the "Genetic dissection of heat tolerance using bulk-segregant RNA sequencing (BSR-seq) in groundnut (PR18251)" project under the direction of Dr. Spurthi Nayak.* The groundnut pod sample was examined for BSR-sequencing, and the genome and data analysis were studied to improve assessment.* In accordance with the project, one book chapter entitled "Integration of genomic approaches in abiotic stress tolerance in groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.): An overview" was published in Springer Nature Publication, and two research papers are currently being reviewed for publication.

* Academics- taught a variety of undergraduate courses and increased the overall passing % of students to above 91 %.* UG courses: Plant Cell and Tissue Culture, Intellectual Property Rights, Introduction to Bioinformatics.* Coordinator for hands-on training projects for final-year students with 100% passing percentage.* Setting up a plant tissue culture (PTC) lab and guiding 8 students through a banana and sugarcane micro-propagation and molecular marker project. Project work: RNAi gene validation in Mustard against Diamondback moth (Plutella Xyllostella L.) under guidance of Mr. Nandkumar Kunchge, Principal Scientist.Nature of work: The work mainly involved optimisation of Agrobacterium tumefaciens meditated plant transformation protocol in mustard using gus gene and followed by RNAi and Bt gene construct. The techniques learned were media preparation, development of mustard transformation protocol, selection, subculture, cloning, rooting and hardning of explants, gus histochemical assay, Kanamycin test, Agrobacterium free test and mustard genomic DNA isolation. Gene of interest RNAi and Bt have been transformed in mustard successfully and confirmed its integration by PCR using selection marker gene npt-II.
