Led large, cutting edge technology projects with patent portfolio of more than 100 patents, team size of 20 in:Transportation Analytics - Video analytics based parking • Promoted to manage engineering, research, and operations during novel pilot program to perform video analytics to evaluate parking needs and change pricing in metro Washington D.C. area. • Successfully delivered pilot program that included setup and collection of videos from 10+ cameras from streets, development & improvement of data science algorithms to analyze the videos and delivery of visualizations.• Coauthored proposal entitled Collaborative Optimization and Planning for Transportation Energy Reduction (COPTER) for Department of Energy’s ARPA-e, which awarded more than $2 million in funding for PARC.Healthcare Analytics - Remote sensing of health vitals• Drove team to improve remote sensing algorithms to work more robustly in different light conditions, poses, etc. with structured experimentation (DoE).• Led development and delivery of video processing infrastructure designed to analyze consumer healthcare vitals.• Successfully partnered with multiple health systems and technology firms to build value chain for offerings.• Brought in as analytics specialist for a special project to quantify the risk and support decision making for restructuring of the $1.6B MMIS contract with the State of California. Complex business scenarios modeled using Monte Carlo simulation and decision trees (@RISK) to make critical contract decisions by C-level management. Robotic Process Automation - Process discovery and mining for automation• Led cross-functional team of image scientists, data scientists, ethnographers and software developers to develop a novel system that automatically recognizes actions made by call center workers and mines event logs for insights. • Conceived the system, built the team and drove development of imaging and process mining algorithms for system.

Led team to model and analyze US road network to optimize traffic flow in the Los Angeles Traffic Management High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes project. Assembled diverse project team of control system experts, data scientists, and software modelers to develop a simulation-based pricing algorithm addressing pricing, behavior, revenue and quality.• Document Workflow Automation - Made specific recommendations for automating intensive workflows, including document classification, OCR, and data extraction to ensure business processes remained efficient and effective.

Business Process Optimization - Delivered recommendation strategies to optimize business process leading to substantial cost savings in one of the largest MNC banks• Responsible as research consultant to characterize Legal Paper Processing (LPP) business process comprising of 50+ employees and daily volume of 1.6 million. Interviewed key stakeholders and process managers, delivered 20 process maps.• Led effort to develop process models and perform process mining analysis in ProM to get key insights. Used visualization and process analytics to identify different recommendation strategies that would result in 3+ headcount reduction and cost savings (Python).

Delivered a methodology to assess market sensitivity of different technologies and features in Xerox products• Led the effort to deliver novel quantitative methodology connecting product characteristics to sales price.• Developed methodology based on approaches from data mining (regression trees) and economics (hedonic regression).Led Design for Lean Six Sigma sustainability effort for entire organization• Deployed a survey to understand the pulse of the organization, interviewed key leaders, developed series of recommendations.• Organized an advanced statistical modeling course for black belts across several areas and labs; delivered training to black belts as part of the Critical Parameter Management team.Led recruiting and research agenda development for new research center - Xerox Research Center India (XRCI)• Led recruiting efforts and developing research agenda in the areas of operations research, supply chain management and optimization for XRCI.
