• To efficiently and accurately execute core procurement processes for assigned products.• Understand Material Requirements Planning (MRP) & Timely issuance of Purchase orders to Vendors.• Action on all New Buys, Push, Pull, Cancel, pre-delivery confirmations to Supplier and monitor past due Purchase Order.• On time completion of Open PO Report and Shortage Report• To meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets as defined for the product assigned.• Work with Planner to review Engineering Change Order (ECO) impact on open orders.• Negotiate pricing, delivery, lead time and other terms and conditions consistent with business requirements.• Resolving receiving discrepancies (RDR), Material Review Board(MRB),Return to Vendor (RTV)• Complete resolution of Accounts Payable issues.• To identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes• Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.• To manage purchase requests for supplier bids, quotes and proposals• Evaluating and short listing the potential suppliers on the basis of their capabilities, quality of the goods they supplied, costs of their goods and technical support• Keeping and updating procurement records• Checking the current status of the available stock of goods and arranging for the finished goods to ensure the consistent production of quality material in competitive rates• Work closely with cross- Function teams to develop new business proposals managing supplier qualification, contract development, implementation, supplier selection, compliance and ongoing supply management process.• Responsible for issues related to supplier contacts, quality and delay in supply and its effects on production• Making effective negotiations with suppliers in the benefit of the company.• Handled the tasks of solving disputes with suppliers.• Performed other duties as assigned.
