Engineering Supervisor
Current•Leading a product development team of 6 engineers, responsible for New Product Development (NPD), sustenance engineering and engineering support to manufacturing plant.•Handling complete life cycle of NPD, including gathering VOC, conceptualization, design, verification, prototyping, functional & qualification testing.•Providing technical leadership to guarantee that projects satisfy functional, cost, and timing criteria and serve both India and global customers.•Responsible for Root cause analysis & investigate problems with a structured approach to find causes & solutions.•Direct interaction with customers to understand technical requirements, design challenges.•Fostering growth of team members by coaching and guiding them in their professional development.•Ensure priority setting, resource management, goals setting, performance management, hiring, training.•Engaging team with strong interpersonal communication skills & building a connect with them empathetically.•Driving continuous improvement culture in the team to increase speed of delivery & innovation.•Collaborate with CFT functions like Sales, Operations, Field application engineering, product management for strategic and day to day project deliverables, including project planning, profit & loss calculation, customer complaint resolving, etc.•Engaged in driving various organization centric initiatives like Kaizen, TEOAE (lean methodology).
