Headed ITES operations of Willis (Trinity, India), world's third largest insurance broking company, catering to Willis' UK and US operations. The size of organization managed was 375 people. Handled the entire range of activities such as people leadership, operations improvement and management, transition planning and execution.

Headed an SBU responsible for promoting retail and distribution automation solutions to various industrial sectors.

Headed the systems consulting division (Business Systems) of BILT. Key initiatives included a comprehensive assessment of the organization's existing systems, processes and capabilities; identification of gaps and opportunities and identification of "to-be" solutions that would help the organization prepare for the next big leap.Also visualised an e-business platform for Paper, Print and Packaging industries based on aggregation of demand. This resulting in the company creating a separate venture "e-groupdeals.com" for realisation of the concept.Given the complexity and spread of the activities involved and the peculiarly disruptive time when I was associated with BILT (thanks to the explosive ERP and e-business hype), this was possibly a defining period of my career.

Lead growth initiatives including business development, collaboration, licensing. Responsible for strategic planning for all the six SBUs of the organizations.For last six months (post takeover of the company by Wockhardt), also headed the company's diagnostic division.

Handled a range of responsibilities including R&D, product development, process scale-up and design, process commissioning and trouble shooting, process improvement, quality systems (ISO 9002) implementation.
