As an accomplished economist with diverse expertise encompassing government budget policy, macroeconomics, agricultural value chain analysis, migration policies, and energy economics, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my current role. I graduated with first-class honors in Economics with Finance from Westminster International University in Tashkent. My career began at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), the major think tank of the Ministry of Economics and Finance, where I conducted research on government budget transparency and participatory budgeting, leading to promotions from Research Assistant to Chief Specialist. As a Policy Analyst at the International Strategic Centre for Agri-Food Development (ISCAD), a think tank affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture, I made significant contributions to agricultural value chain analysis in Uzbekistan. My visit to the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) in Germany further enriched my expertise with valuable international insights. Currently, I continue my dedicated efforts towards economic development and poverty reduction at the Centre for Progressive Reforms.
