I'm currently involve with designing two 12 GeV era experiments at the Jefferson lab. First experment is the parity violating asymmetry measurement of lead (Pb) to determine the neutron radius (PREX). Second experiment is the proposed Solenoidal Large Intensity Device experiment (SoLID) which have broad range of physics measurement capabilities including but not limited to a test of the Standard Model, Spin structure of nucleons, and hadronic physics related to QCD. Currently my main responsibilities in the PREX experiment include optimizing collimation to reduce background contamination by using Geant4 and FLUKA simulations. For the SoLID experiment, my main goal is to understand the background contributions to the main detectors and finds methods to minimize them. For both experiments, I'm actively involved in DAQ and detector development projects.

I have involved in development and maintenance of Data analysis software and Data Acquisition (DAQ) system for an experiment called Qweak (http://www.jlab.org/qweak/). I have set up NIM, VME and CAMAC electronic instrumentation for the experiment and have very good experience with programming with C++. Then I actively participated in the Qweak experiment data taking period. I also collaborated with Hall A experiments including HAPPEX, PREX and DVCS.At present I'm working on my dissertation related data analysis with the Qweak experiment and planning to graduate around Spring 2013

My work involved development and maintenance of Data Acquisition (DAQ) system for an experiment called Qweak (http://www.jlab.org/qweak/). I have worked with NIM, VME and CAMAC electronic instrumentation. I have also experience in developing data analysis software for the same experiment. I have experience on how to develop software systems to decode raw data recorded by a DAQ system using C, C++ and perl and shell scripting languages. I'm also performing data analysis work using the CERN ROOT data analysis framework (http://root.cern.ch/drupal/) and MySQL database entries.
