I am a core member of Team ErythroSight which has developed a novel and personalised therapeutic for the treatment of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), the leading cause of irreversible blindness in the western world, affecting over 240 million people worldwide. As a Research Assistant with the Hayashi Lab at The John Curtin School of Medical Research (ANU), I supported research on splicing mechanisms in animal development, including maintaining fruit fly strains, generating transgenic strains, conducting bulk RNA extractions and generating sequencing libraries.

As a SPARK Summer intern at IITR (Dr Prabhat Mandal's laboratory), I developed an antibody for human L1-ORF2p, a challenging protein to express. By cloning a small ORF2 fragment into a bacterial expression vector, expressing it, and injecting it into mice, I obtained anti-serum with strong ORF2 antibody signals. This provides a valuable tool for studying.

In my role as a part-time math tutor, I provided personalised tutoring to middle school and high school students, covering a wide range of topics in mathematics including fundamental and advanced algebra, precalculus, and calculus.
