Position summary:IT Business Application Specialist - Global IT COE is part of IT department and is responsible for managing the LMS platform, ensuring its smooth operation and meeting the business needs of our organization. The primary focus of this role will be on the LMS platform, and the specialist will be responsible for all aspects of its management, including system configuration, user administration, report generation, and troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities• Manage the LMS platform to ensure its smooth operation and meeting business needs.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address system issues and make necessary updates and changes.• Work closely with business partners to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users. • Serve as the main point of contact for all LMS-related IT inquiries and issues.• Manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the LMS platform.• Collaborate with Business to ensure the LMS platform meets their needs and requirements.• Ensure the LMS platform is validated in accordance with industry standards and requirements.• Create and execute validation plans and documentation.• Ensure all changes to the LMS platform are documented and validated appropriately.• Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices related to LMS platforms and e-learning.• Manage relationships with LMS vendors and stay informed about their product updates and releases.• Handling Power-BI administration – Creating and provide access to the users and also removing the access for terminated users, Upgrading the Power BI desktop and On-premises gateway.

Projects:• Part of Windows 7 migration project (Win7 to Win10) and visited onsite.• Part of implementing new service desk tool – Halo ITSM project.Job responsibilities:• Installing and troubleshooting of operating system related issues.• Configuring laptops/desktops for new users for all sites.• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting on VPN.• Providing the Telephonic and Remote support.• Cisco Jabber creation and support. • Windows Active Directory administration.• Active Directory User creation and management.• Active Directory group creation and management.• Managing user access rights.• Providing support for office 365 configuration on outlook client. • Local user support-Managing hardware and mobile phones, OS imaging and Intune configuration, contacting internet service providers in case of slowness/link down• PRTG alerts management- Informing Infra team when any service is down and also updating user community in case of major breakdowns .• Working on daily TSM backup reports and Empower backups.• Performing restore test when it necessary.• Coordinate and complete periodic review in time, User review, server room access review, Hardware review and Homeshare Review.• I am part of HALO ITSM project and also co-ordinate with Vendor when it requires. • Halo ITSM administration - adding new services, Custom Objects, approval process, work flows, email notifications, importing users and agents, creating categorization, adding agents, creating teams, setting up email rules, notification setup, creating knowledge base articles.• Exaqcvision system administration - creating and terminating of users and managing user group , camera group and help users if they face any L1 issue on this system.• Co-ordinate with team & providing the solution to client as per their requirements.
