Regivet BV is an independent Dutch consulting firm specialized in the development and registration of veterinary pharmaceuticals in Europe (National/MRP/DCP/CP).As Analyst Pharmaceutical Development I’m responsible for the following 'Research and Development' activities:• Development of formulations for veterinary pharmaceutical products (tablets, solution for injections, ointments, capsules, powders, etc.)• Development of manufacturing methods for veterinary pharmaceutical products (laboratory scale to production scale) • Development and validation of analytical methods for e.g. (U)HPLC, viscosity, UV-spectrophotometry, particle size distribution (laser diffraction and microscopy)• Establish and performing stability studies• Preparation of SOP’s, analysis protocols, specification- and analysis requirements • Establishment and maintenance of equipment and qualification statements.Since December 2018 I'm part of the 'bedrijfshulpverlening' team. I'm responsible for:• Providing first aid to victims• Limiting and combating a (starting) fire• Limiting the consequences of accidents

The Aspen group has 20 manufacturing facilities at 14 sites on 6 continents, including the factory in Oss. My activities at Aspen Oss consist of analytical support of manufacturing. This is realized with instrumental (HPLC/GC) and (physic-)chemical analysis for raw materials, intermediate- and end products, stability studies and in-process samples. Another activity is the validation of analysis methods for specific product with Gas Chromatography (GC). All activities take place under strict GMP regulations.

The activities of Fujifilm Manufacturing Europe B.V. are the development, production, sale and servicing of photo paper, offset plates and gas separation membranes. The first month of my graduation internship at the Analytical Support and Development laboratory I did routine analytical analysis with Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). After this month I started with my thesis research. This research is about a characterization of a copolymer using for Gas Separation Membranes. First, a separation and identification is performed with Gradient Polymer Elution Chromatography (GPEC) on UPLC-ELSD. Thereafter a characterization is performed with LC-QTOF-MS.

Subsequently I did a project for Pharmaceutical Development. This project consisted of the improvement, optimization and validation of analysis methods with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC-DAD). After this I wrote validation reports for specific products.
