NZTA Waikato Expressway: Huntly Bypass, 2014 – 2020Design team lead and designer for the geotechnical design of 4 stream bridges 80m to 100m long over stream with soft and liquefiable ground conditions and deep pile foundation. Waka Kotahi NZTA SH2 Tauranga Eastern Link, Tauranga, 2010 – 2015Geotechnical design of bridge pile foundation, bridge abutments, MSE retaining walls, 40,000m3 of polystyrene (EPS) and ground improvements on soft ground.Lower Hatea River Bridge, Whangarei, 2011 – 2013Geotechnical detailed design of bridge pile foundations, bridge abutments including ground improvements and an EPS embankment and new road over landfill. SH16/SH18 Hobsonville Deviation and Brigham Creek Extension, Auckland, 2008 – 2011Earthworks design for 6km of motorway, including up to 16m high embankments and 12m deep cuts. Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Plant, North Shore City, Auckland, 2008 Temporary works design for a 45m deep temporary access shaft for TBM Tunnel Project. Project Hobson, Auckland, 2007 – 2009Temporary works design of four shafts, up to 35m deep and 23m diameter with rock bolt stabilisation, tunnel excavation design for 4.8m diameter conventionally excavated tunnel and cross passages.
