In my role as Product Manager at Rockpanel - part of the ROCKWOOL Group - it is my task to bridge gaps and build bridges, both internal and external, with respect to development, marketing, supply chain and sales. I combine technical and commercial conversations and steer projects accordingly.My main tasks and responsibilities are as follows: portfolio and product lifecycle management including pricing, new product introductions, competitor benchmarks, monitor market developments and project management. Next to the product management activities I have been responsible for the reorganization of Rockpanel’s Sample Department (3 years, managing 6 FTEs). This included setting up new roles and recruitment of employees, embedding of procedures and improve quality and reliability of consumables, packaging materials and carriers while also saving costs (40%).

NTS Frames & Cabinets uses its technological know-how, expertise and experience to excel in the production of complex metal, granite or hybrid frames, cabinets and modules, coated or non-coated, machined or not machined for high mix, low volume, high complexity markets such as the semiconductor, analytical, digital printing and healthcare sector.I was responsible for the development of innovative business solutions with key customers, such as Bang & Olufsen and Canon Production Printing, and strengthen the partnership with them. My task was to implement a strategic approach both internally and in the market place in order to reach the mutual goal of having an excellent QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology & Cost) performance.

In this role I was responsible for the performance of 3 production sites by managing approximately 30 employees. As part of this position I was in consultation with our existing customers (e.g. Royal FloraHolland, Veiling Rhein-Maas, 2 Sisters Food Group) on regular basis. I was also involved in new projects and participated in sales related matters (e.g. new business development, tenders). Furthermore, it was my task to implement a quality system according to ISO guidelines, monitor the quality and performance of key suppliers and ensure continuous improvements.

Venlo, The Netherlands

In this position my account management activities were primary focused on customers (abroad) operating in the international defence and medical/diagnostics market segments. The product portfolio typically consisted of products like cameras and sensor sights in the defence market and products like spectrometers in diagnostics. In this role my tasks were, among others, contract negotiations and leading so called ‘quotation teams’ with the focus on turnover and gross profit margins.Furthermore, it was my task to create structure and policy in marketing activities, in close cooperation with the senior management. I was responsible for online marketing, marketing communication, public relations and brand management. I developed a ‘brand strategy’ that resulted in a consistent approach of the company in several market segments, while having different internal processes (in terms of pricing and profit margins).

Venlo, The Netherlands

This position included various marketing strategy, marketing communication and sales activities, mostly regarding the defence and diagnostics market segments. Aforementioned activities include for instance product marketing, preparing and visiting exhibitions, creating product data sheets, creating content and graphic design of the new company website, having contact with (international) customers, making quotations, handling different customer questions and ERP activities.

This included activities such as scheduling, instructing and directing approximately 13 employees, tactically determining the order of production under time pressure, securing quality and safety and working with ERP.Beside these activities I participated in the projectgroup concerning the staff magazine.As part of training at Van Gorp Greenfood, I have gained the certificate Food Safety HACCP.

During my studies I used to work at Wienerberger's factories Janssen-Dings and Narvik.

This position included creating work schedules, drafting production forecasts, building up contacts with the different internal departments and managing production departments by making, planning and releasing work orders in the ERP system.
