- Owned and operated an exterior painting company in central Toronto accomplishing $140,000+ in annual revenues, a customer satisfaction rating of 98%, and one of the highest profit margins among Toronto franchise owners

- Main project included the software development of an improved human machine interface (HMI) control architecture for a 6 axis industrial robot by using a haptic feedback induced joystick. Development of software was done by integrating custom written .NET (C# and C++) programs and lower level RAPID robotic language with a LabVIEW program to increase execution speed and generate a logical graphical user interface (GUI). Upon designing the new control software the control delay between the joystick and robot was reduced from 1000 to 10-20 ms.- Was awarded a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) research grant of $4500 for the work done at Hatch.
