Frosh Camp is a four day camp exclusively for incoming freshmen. Frosh Camp gives new students an upper hand on their first year by teaching what to expect inside and outside of class, introducing them to all that the University of Memphis has to offer, tons of Tiger spirit, connections with upperclassman and 250 fellow freshmen, fun, memories, and lots of new friends! As a counselor, I plan, coordinate, and execute group activities as well as overseeing the incoming freshman.

Orientation Guides have various responsibilities including assisting the staff of the Orientation Services Office with the planning and implementation of the Summer Orientation Program. Orientation Guides are expected to become knowledgeable about all aspects of the University, lead campus tours, help with Conference Housing on the nights students stay in the residence hall, interact with parents, help plan activities for students, and perform additional duties as required.

The Consul is the president or CEO of the chapter. He presides over chapter meetings and other chapter affairs and activities, and is responsible for the security of the charter, Ritual and Ritualistic materials.The Consul should possess a working knowledge of the Sigma Chi Governing Laws, Ritual, risk management regulations, chapter bylaws and policies, and campus and interfraternity regulations and procedures. He maintains a close relationship and communication with chapter advisors, the house corporation, the Grand Praetor, alumni, Headquarters and university and interfraternity council officials.The Consul maintains current knowledge of all chapter and member developments and activities, and follows up on all operations and programs by interacting with the appropriate officers. He should attend the Balfour Leadership Training Workshop.

Plan, organize and coordinate a year-round chapter recruitment program. Ensure that every brother, and not only a few individuals, participates in membership recruitment. Coordinate all communications with prospective members, including all printed recruitment matter.

The morale captain director will be responsible for coordinating the selection of Morale Captains and maintaining the entire Morale Captain program. They will facilitate weekly meetings with the 33 Morale Captains, where they will provide them with ongoing motivation about Up ‘til Dawn and St. Jude, communicate information from the executive board, as well as plan events for the Up ‘til Dawn program. They are responsible for ensuring that morale captains maintain contact with teams and give them up-to-date, accurate information regarding the program. They are responsible for facilitating one-on-one meetings with morale captains at least once a semester and providing feedback on their performance as a morale captain.

The Logistics Chairperson is responsible for coordinating, reserving, and booking all aspects of any St. Jude Up ‘til Dawn event, including the Letter-Sending Event if applicable. He is responsible for staying within any pre-defined budgets as defined by the group and Advisor. He works hand in hand with Event and Logistics Director to ensure all logistics involved with booking entertainment for any event is taken care of. The Logistics Chair also takes care of facility needs and is responsible on the night of the event to monitor the logistics of the event to make sure everything is running smoothly and accounted for each activity. He is on site for the event for load-in and load-out.
