 Serves as program advisor to the Station Manager (SM). Responsible for the preparation of program schedules and board assignments. Checks the program log from its preparation until it’s filled and seesto it that commercial spots, plugs, programs and on-air promotionsare broadcast as scheduled. Supervises program / production personnel and reports anymisdemeanor to the SM. Assists the SM in enforcing the highest standard of broadcasting,especially as they apply to program materials, format orientation andpersonality on-air performance. Encourages program personnel in creating fresh ideas for formats,programs, promotions both on/off air and the effective way to implement them. Required to report immediately any technical error/s, malfunction of board equipments. Coordinates with research/spot checkers in checking the acceptability of programs; how these are being perceived and received by audiences, and moreover to see how the overall picture of the station is doing as far as quantitative listening is concerned. Helps the SM in building up local sales by creating and coming up with highly creative and “sponsorable” programs or program inputs. Hosts special programs. Conceptualizes and writes script for production. Supervises and produces all audio materials/imaging for the station. Hosts various station events. Anchors regular on-air program. Prepares own scripts, spiels and jokes. Does voice-overs and production job. Assists in promotions and events. Hosts various station events. Liaise with record company promotion and marketing representatives.
