- Responsible for managing the Norwegian Oil and Gas digital portfolio of 25 services provided to the operators, JV partners and service companies working offshore Norway. Servicing 1900+ companies with 10.000+ users and coordinating with regulatory entities and governmental institutions.- Leading the implementation of the oil and gas industry strategy for collaboration activities on the NCS. - This icludes a portfolio of 6+ collaboration projects under development involving 16 different companies in the areas of sharing economy, standardization, subsurface, contracts, big data, blockchain, 3D printing and more- Head of the Norwegian Oil and Gas project management office, coordinating internally and externally projects through standardized templates, terms and methodologies. Key is setting short terms goals to show the value a project extracts against expected outcomes and exceeding them.- Head of the Norwegian Oil and Gas Digital Forum for the oil and gas industry, leading IT managers and Digital managers discussion on the challenges and developments needed for the entire industry to operate in standard ways. From these ideas, dedicated work groups are set up to investigate challenges and develpo solutions using a standardized governing structure.

ECC is a Norwegian state-owned company providing a centre of expertise for the collection, quality management and distribution of Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs) globally through 66 bilateral agreements. ECC collates and creates a global coverage of navigational and bathymetric charts that are used by all commercial entities who have sea faring vessels for safe navigation.We provide tools and services to make ENCs and associated information available in the most efficient manner to ships, pilots, vessel traffic services, governments and others.Key achievements include:1. Managing all Schlumberger Information Solutions AS Nordic operations including;• Creation of Business Strategy and full Ownership for KPO’s, KPI’s• Legal Authority and ownership for all business activity, tenders, contracts and operations• Manage a team of over 160 professionals in a large variety of roles including Scientific, Production, Administration, Finance, Legal, HSE and Logistics, Sales, HR, Accounts Manager profiles.• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting internally and externally to local and global management and Board.• Responsible for a 120M+ USD annual budget and increasing basis point profitability annually.

I was responsible for looking after global production environment solution deployment and workflow utilization, global transitions and global training at SIS clients worldwide for the 500M USD Petrel and Studio software projects.My role as the program manager and the 25+ persons globally reporting to me took me to all countries globally and working with all Oil and Gas Operators. My role in addition to technical understanding of geosciences and modelling includes a large amount of project management and program management along with a large component of change management.

My primary role has not changed as i remain Commercialization Manager for Petrel Geophysics however as Principal Geophysicist a substantial addition to my role is the training and mentoring of junior and senior geophysicists, I regularly create and run specialist geophysics courses worldwide for Schlumberger personnel together with on the job workflow and interpretation guidance.

As a Senior Geophysicist my role is to commercialize Petrel Geophysics software. I am responsible for geophysics domain interpretation and software testing leading a team of 9 geophysicists to ascertain quality to Petrel geophysics software through interpretation scenarios.Duties include;• Manual and Automated seismic interpretation methods, Seismic to Well Ties, Seismic Surface and Volume Attributes, Geodesy and Spatial transformations, Velocity Modeling, Modeling while Interpreting, Geobody detection and interpretation, Usability of Petrel geophysics, Performance and stress testing of geophysical interpretation processes in Petrel.• Performing joint interpretation studies in the North Sea with oil and gas companies (see papers section below for the published joint study paper with RWE, UK) specifically performing studies on enhancement of seismic volumes for stratigraphic analysis of prograding and aggradational deposition packages.• Geophysics instructor for Schlumberger, having taught Seismic Interpretation and Petrel courses in Houston, Abu Dhabi and Abingdon in 2010 & 2011

Geophysics expert evaluating and working with major oil and gas companies on their geophysical exploration projects in the North Sea. During this time, I have worked on many fields including the Ekofisk and Solsikke fields in the Norwegian North Sea and with Middle East carbonate reservoirs and complex structures. I was responsible for designing new geophysics functionality in Petrel software, including new automated seismic interpretation modules, the seismic attributes and the seismic to well ties modules in Petrel and a number of other new algorithms and new technologies

Working with onshore and offshore Gulf of Mexico data spanning onshore and offshore Texas and Louisiana, also working on various Canadian data including heavy oil projects. The primary focus areas being near salt interpretation in the offshore GOM.In conjunction I tested the geophysical GeoFrame 4042 to 4.3 applications, helping to determine the geophysical accuracy of algorithms and results from the software.

Management of the Melbourne SIS (Schlumberger Information Solutions) operations. Working mostly with the offshore Gippsland Otway and Bass basins, I worked on the major oil producing Kingfish field and also on the oil & gas producing Flounder field. I spent several weeks performing a joint study, investigating the major Jansz gas field on the Northwest shelf off the coast of Western Australia. Many of these reservoirs had structural closures and involved coal beds interfering with the seismic signal.
