Managing Director
In this role I provide leadership and ensure the effective management of a successful law practice with an emphasis on finance and marketing. Specializations include negotiating contracts and providing guidance on insurance coverage, real estate, employment, and general enterprise-operations along with counsel on negligence and malpractice. I also serve as the main trial counsel for the firm.I am fortunate to work with an amazing group of attorneys and clients who benefit from our direct approach when assessing their needs and rapidly providing services.A few notable topics I am open to discussing with networking partners include: - Settlement negotiations involving a healthcare facility and representing ousted minority shareholders.- A breach of contract agreement to purchase a health care facility where we demonstrated to the jury that the seller was simply using our client as a stalking horse to inflate the price.- Class-action suit against a prominent real estate company proving negligence in maintenance and construction causing a fire.
Office Managing Partner
I started as the managing partner of the New Jersey office. Over a short period of time I opened and managed offices in New York and Los Angeles. Our focus was blending the art of business and the science of law regarding corporate matters, securities, M&A, business operations and employment litigation.Working with a strong staff in each office enabled us to effectively resolve risk-management issues; concerns with proprietary information related to document management and production risk-management issues. Some key areas of success included:- Securing several million dollars in arbitration damages for a construction project dispute in less than one month.- Won a judgement for an international engineering design firm alleging improper building design.

Office Managing Partner/Construction Practice Group Chair
Chaired the marketing department, grew the office staff and consistently increased billings. Being able to build on in market experiences provided me with an understanding of managing business independently of market fluctuations across a wide spectrum of initiatives. Working directly with key business partners we developed programs and provided direct services to grow and drive revenue. Notable achievements to discuss include:- Avoiding class action lawsuits with effective representation.- Preventing over payment dealing with labor wage compliance issues.

Partner/Construction Industry Group Chairman/Co-Chair, New Jersey Litigation Department
I was recruited to lead the US’s 149th largest law firm and lobbying group, representing clients in corporate and securities law, financial dealings, employment issues, taxes, intellectual property, and construction law. Co-chairing two New Jersey offices and serving on the merger steering committee enabled me to utilize an “out-of-the-box” approach to doing business and building great relationships.Highlights include:- Successfully represented a real estate owner in litigation involving cellular tower rights. Judgement was reversed, case and a nuisance value was negotiated thus avoiding any appeal.- Achieved a highly favorable settlement at trial for a multimillion-dollar negligence suit regarding the renovation of a historic office building.- Negotiated engineering contracts for international construction projects.
