As a System Assurance Engineer, my focus is on RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) engineering, FLS (Fire and Life Safety) Engineering and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) coordination and management. I work on both local and international projects, such as the Metro Manila Subway Project, specifically for the Telecommunication System.Scope of Work:1. Fire and Life Safety Engineering for Telecommunication System, Power SCADA and Automatic Fare Collection SystemIn my role, I ensure that railway systems, particularly telecommunications, meet the highest standards of performance and safety throughout their lifecycle as referred to the standards of EN50126, EN50128 and EN50129. I analyze and optimize system reliability, identify potential failure modes, and develop strategies to minimize downtime and enhance safety. Additionally, I play a role in the Fire and Life Safety Engineering for a few sub-systems, making sure that they adhere to the NFPA 130 Standard for Passenger Railway System. Creating the Safety Plan and ensuring the Design of the sub-system respects the standards.I also manage EMC aspects, ensuring that all electronic systems within the railway infrastructure do not interfere with one another or with external systems. This involves conducting thorough management and coordination with subcontractors to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations such as IEC 61000.

RAMS Engineering: Develop and implement RAMS methodologies to optimize system performance and reliability.Hazard Analysis: Perform Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to identify and mitigate potential risks.Safety Assurance: Conduct safety assessments, develop Safety Cases, and ensure adherence to safety standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and EN 50126/50128/50129.Regulatory Compliance: Well-versed in regulatory frameworks and standards governing safety-critical industries, especially in railway.

As a member of the System Assurance Team, I am responsible for managing and preparing RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) documents for local and international (Hanoi, Jakarta) clients. My work has a direct impact on the serviceability of different system projects such as Railway Systems, Elevator Systems, and Escalator Systems.My primary responsibility is to analyze these systems using various techniques, such as Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Hazard Analysis and Hazard Log, and Safety Cases (Preliminary, Design, and Final). I work alongside the Director and other team members to ensure that all RAMS documents are comprehensive, accurate, and of high quality.In addition, I collaborate with clients to understand their needs and requirements, and provide them with support and guidance throughout the process. My strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial in identifying potential issues and risks, and recommending solutions to ensure that projects are completed successfully.

Assist the Principal Traffic Engineer to create solutions and improvements to traffic and transport-related areas such as Development, Pedestrians, Road Improvements, Carparks, Ferry/Cruise Terminals, Depots and Toll Roads.Tasked to write up Traffic Impact Assessment Reports for new developments, both locally and internationally. Providing investigations and mitigation proposals to developments to improve vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Assisted by software such as SIDRA Intersections and VISSIM to provide the necessary simulations and results to support the reports.Aided by AutoCAD and QGIS (Geographic Information System) to draw and plan out Transport/Traffic related projects such as improvement of circulations in carparks and layouts of land/population of a region etc.Data analysis using Microsoft Excel to provide results such as carpark gantry data and toll roads usage data to study the peak periods and fluctuation of data in areas such as Hanoi, Jakarta and Makassar.Static and Dynamic Assessment of Pedestrian Modelling using VISWalk to simulate models of future developments and determine conflicting areas and reports of the model.

Designed a recycling receptacle that was chosen by National Environment Agency to be produced for all households in Singapore which will be used to promote recycling habit at home. The Inventor of the recycling receptacle which currently has a provisional patent to protect the design. Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and NEA launched the Bloobox Initiative on 19 March 2023 Nationwide.

Designed and prototyped an autosampler for sewage water which is used for rapid production as compared to current autosamplers in the market. Autosampler is designed to the specification and requirements given by the Environmental Health Institute (EHI) for virus identification in deep underground sewage water. EHI and SIT has expressed that the production cost for the current autosamplers is 50% of the current autosampler while improving the functions of its predecessor.

As a member of the Advanced Additive Manufacturing Team at A*STAR's Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre, I was responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at improving the mechanical properties of metal powder used for repairing aircraft turbines. My day-to-day responsibilities included performing material and metallurgy analyses using the AxioVision software, maintaining lab cleanliness, and assisting material scientists in their research efforts.In addition, I played a key role in supporting the team's efforts to enhance the performance of additive manufacturing machines. This included creating programs on software to allow for better analysis of materials, as well as conducting powder characterization studies.One of my major achievements during my time with the team was helping to improve the mechanical properties of aircraft turbine repairs through the use of metallurgical studies. By increasing the ultimate strength of the welding, we were able to significantly enhance the performance of these repairs.
