Led a research project for Network Rail fitting power and data connections to 6 wagons to prove the concept of 'Intelligent wagons'.- Engineering: introducing innovative new wagons, track and terminal optimisation for ABP and Network Rail, developing track maintenance standards for Tarmac, Cemex, BP and others. Vehicle acceptance and cost benchmarking for various leasing companies.- Commercial: re-procuring rail freight haulage contracts for Prax, BP, Metrolinx in Toronto and other Clients, developing business cases for new lines and investment including in Egypt for the World Bank and expert witness in planning, CPO and legal disputes- Operational: revising MoW of Day Aggregates to enable longer trains, establishing operational models for the Network Rail's CARs project, evaluating future operational opportunities for developers, undertaking terminal design for several Clients including Tarmac, NR and ABP.
