Manage day-to-day operations of all operational sections of the Division with emphasis in safety and health in both public and private sectors as well as wage and hour enforcement:~Wage and Hour (Labor Standards)~OSHA Consultation (Private Sector)~AOSH (Arkansas Occupational Safety and Health-Public Sector), Mine Safety and Health, and Amusement Ride Inspections (Level 1 Certification - National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials)~Code Compliance (Electrical/Elevator/Boiler/HVAC/Athletic Commission)~BLS (Labor Statistics)Work closely with USDOL-OSHA Area and Regional Offices partnering with industry safety professionals to ensure a safe work environment. Regularly present safety talks across Arkansas to support our network of safety conferences.Regularly interact with industry in the areas of elevator, electrical, boiler/pressure vessels, and HVAC across the state in support of the agency code compliance section.Relationships are key to both managing day-to-day operations and engaging with government when things get tough.
