Technical Specialist, Materials And Processes (M&P) Engineering
CurrentMaterials and Processes (M&P) engineer for all Gulfstream current and future aircraft programs. Focal for wing skin creep age forming, furnace thermodynamics and pyrometry, metallurgy, and fastener hardware designs. Executes data-driven definition updates for metallic and non-metallic base materials specifications, coatings, sealants, assembly processes, and process line controls. Evaluates aircraft discrepancies and develops repair dispositions via Material Review Board (MRB) authority. Performs failure analysis investigations. Authors qualification test plans and test reports. M&P department liaison for advanced materials and processes development (friction stir weld process and allowables development, additive manufacturing of metallic materials). Chair of M&P & Advanced Structures & Materials Committee and co-chair of M&P Laboratory Development Committee (equipment justification & acquisition).
