Started my new job yesterday, looking forward to the challenges ahead. I have worked for the same company for the last 33 years although the owners names have changed in that time. I have held various roles within the organisation since I started in 1983 as a process operative. I am currently seconded to China working with my Chinese colleagues in their carbon fibre plant. I was previously the carbon fibre plant manager in Grimsby having been involved from the start in Bluestar Fibres adventure in to carbon fibre manufacturing in 2007. I have spent vast amounts of time in China carrying out training and helping Bluestar China with the development of their carbon fibre lines. I have been called upon upon to support our precursor customers in China helping them set up their line conditions to optimise their production and quality yields.
