Currently serve as a Power Systems Analyst for the Glendale Water and Power. Duties include analysis and preparation of Integrated Energy Plans, as well as modeling and forecasting supply and demand for the city. Daily duties include tagging and scheduling of power transmission from Glendale resources, and establishing coherent plans for the projected future of Glendale' energy market. Essential responsibilities to the role include being aware and knowledgeable in national and international energy market trends, as well as technological progressions in the world of grid energy and distributed energy.Passion includes community engagement and leadership, displayed through various roles in college serving on the leadership board for CPP ASME two years in a row and being part of the ASME ambassadors program. Professional Experience includes working on and preparing work packages and RFQs for industrial construction, namely in Power Plants and Refineries. Experience includes understanding and analyzing different codes and standards for mechanical and civil applications, as well as being flexible with changing working conditions and data.Project experience involved working with 3D printing, CFD simulations in both mechanics of materials and thermal-fluid computations, with some knowledge in machining and manufacturing. Research experience includes an ongoing research effort into the optimization of a Lebanese Power System capacity expansion, with further analysis into governmental and international constraints on models. Always looking to be part of a team working towards mutual goals and spreading awareness into the importance of continuous learning and leadership starting from college into our careers.
