Area consists of over fifty employees. Responsible for delivering Authority budget for Executive Director to present to Board of Commissioners, implementation, and monitoring of the Authority's budget and financial reporting, as well as investment of all Authority funds and debt management. In addition, responsible for presentation of the Authority's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and attendance at all Committee and Board of Commissioner Meetings.

Accountable for performance of accounting, budget, finance, human resources, management information systems and procurement activities of the Authority. Responsible for the conversion to the asset management model, project based budgeting and accounting, that met HUD requirements in advance of HUD directive. Area consists of twenty-two employees plus outsourced payroll and IT professionals. Responsible for delivering Authority budget for CEO to present to Board of Commissioners, implementation, and monitoring of the Authority's budget and financial reporting, as well as investment of all Authority funds and debt management. In addition, responsible for presentation of the Authority's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, which received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the fiscal years ended March 31, 2005 through 2008 (2005 on the Authority’s first attempt), and attendance at all Committee and Board of Commissioner Meetings.

Responsible for duties of Chief Financial Officer, Compliance Officer and North Carolina Business Development. Coordinating financial activities and maintaining financial records of the corporation in addition to filing required information with Securities and Exchange Commission, Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, National Association of Securities Dealers and other agencies. Serve a vital role in networking and introduction avenue to North Carolina local governments and the governmental finance arena. Active in product development and enhancement. Advising governments, businesses, and individuals on investment planning and strategy. Started the fixed income investment program for the business dealing with North Carolina local governments.
