Oversaw production of concrete formwork shop drwgs.- Formwork, shoring, & reshoring analysis for multi-story concrete bldgs.- Started at U of H (Sep 1976). - Tested 4x4 wood shores to determine practical safe working load.- Promoted to Chief Draftsman (1981), head of Engrg Dept.- Responsible for concrete formwork engrg (shop drwgs thru design of formwork, shoring/falsework).- Construction load analysis for shoring & reshoring of multi-story concrete structures.- Designed/tested custom mat'l-handling equipt & rigging.- Converted dept to CAD using AutoCAD® (1985).- Promoted to District Engineer (1987).- Applied for PE license; recognized as viable candidate for licensure (Fall 1987).- Passed EIT & PE exams; rec'd CT PE license (Feb 1988).- Trained, mentored new graduate engineers essential to our operations.- Received my BSCE (U of H, Spring 1990).
