Building on decades of experience in complex litigation and multi-week trials, Mr. Weber recently started a new venture, Weber Advising LLC. He will use the skills acquired from these experiences, along with insights from decision-making science, to help others avoid and resolve disputes. He and his colleagues won a $50 million verdict for a commercial client, the second largest verdict of its type nationally and 45th of the Top 100 Verdicts of 2012 per the National Law Journal & Verdict Search. His appellate experience includes multiple oral arguments before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and intermediate appellate courts.In addition to a full legal practice and serving as a Marquette Law School adjunct Trial Advocacy Professor where he has taught Trial Advocacy for 20 years, Mr. Weber is a member of the Northwestern Mutual Board of Trustees and the National Board for Rocketship Education, a San Jose-based network of public elementary charter schools serving primarily low-income students. He has founded and worked with several educational, charitable and nonprofit groups, including the MU National Alumni Board, the Board of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, the MU College of Arts & Sciences Alumni Board and the FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. Mr. Weber graduated from Columbia University Law School where he served on the Law Review. He then clerked for the Hon. Richard D. Cudahy, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. His undergraduate degree is from Marquette University where he studied history and philosophy, graduating summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
