Many would describe Catalyst Workplace Activation as in the business of providing office furniture, architectural walls, and furniture related services to a wide variety of corporate, government, healthcare, education, home office customers. As President of Catalyst Workplace Activation, I say that our primary focus is people, helping them to grow and to succeed.And many are talking today about diversity, as well they should. But this is not new for Catalyst. The nature of our business is to serve customers whose workers form a wide range of identities, cultures, backgrounds, and ethnicities. We consider this a gift because our customers teach us every day the strengths in respecting and honoring diversity.Plato once said, “The greater part of instruction is being reminded of things you already know.” Personally, I love building teams, I love solving problems, I love being challenged and challenging others, and I love when our customers appreciate what we did for them and how we went about it. Unlocking the potential in people and teams requires listening, then helping people see, not only something new, but more often best practices that they already know.A source of great pride for me is Catalyst employees who enjoy solving complex problems, enjoy taking care of our customer’s needs, being part of a larger circle of people who all want to contribute to helping each other and most importantly, our customers.
