Overall coordination of the event plus responsibility for sponsorship and finances.From 24.-26.06.2022, after two postponements and various impasses due to the Corona pandemic, the Bärner Stadtfescht 2022 took place in the upper and lower old town of Bern. The following vision was at the centre of it:Bern's diversity, creativity and innovative strength should be shown to as wide an audience as possible under the motto "zfride.zäme.feschte.". As many Bernese as possible should be able to participate in the organisation of the festival. For their part, visitors will not only experience the familiar, but also the surprising.During the three days of the event, the Bärner Stadtfescht 2022 addressed the population of the city of Bern, interested people from the canton of Bern as well as the event-enthusiastic population of Switzerland as target groups: The Bärner Stadtfescht 2022 was attended by an estimated 210'000 visitors. This number is distributed over the event days as follows:Friday, 24.06.2022: 70'000 visitorsSaturday, 25.06.2022: 90'000 visitorsSunday, 26.06.2022: 50'000 visitorsThe festival motto "zfriede. zäme. feschte." was obviously very well received by the people of Bern. Numerous families with children, young people and the elderly shared Bern's squares and alleys peacefully until late into the night. Even the short rainfall on Saturday evening did not impress most of the guests, who continued to celebrate exuberantly afterwards. There were practically only happy faces to be seen and the atmosphere was extremely peaceful. Despite the huge crowd, there were no serious incidents in the security and medical areas. The police did not receive a single noise complaint during the entire festival.
