Measure and prepare estimates for residential and commercial applications, including carpet, vinyl, hardwood, laminate, ceramic and vinyl tile. Inspect job site and determine amount of materials to be ordered, moldings, floor prep, etc. keeping waste to a minimum and costs down. . Provide a detailed diagram of job including seam diagram (for roll goods), pattern matches, tile patterns, etc. Provide finalized product estimate to salesperson and ordering desk. Provide a seam diagram and job layout for the installers.

As a subcontractor and business owner, I ran all aspects of a flooring business for 14+ years, including but not limited to, bids, estimates, product sales, installation, crew coordination, hiring, etc. Oversee the day to day operations and manage all employees. Performed all accounting-related duties associated with a business, including invoicing, payroll, tax preparation, etc.
