I was the full-time pianist/accompanist for Valley Cathedral, Phoenix, Arizona, from 1986 through 1999. I have played piano for weddings, dinners, receptions, and miscellaneous functions, for over 40 years. I have been a member of several choirs, singing ensembles, and worship bands.

I was hired as a technical writer, but actually performed the role of a systems engineer. My main responsibility was to take two years of software development done through extreme programming in Java and PL/SQL, understand it at the code and low-level design, and update high-to-mid-level design documents that hadn't been touched in four years to reflect the current state of the software. The document audience was business analysts, software architects, and software developers. I wrote mind maps for business rules regarding the order interface and parameters. I authored concept of operations documents and test lab documentation.
