I ensure the consistent achievement of deadlines, budget goals, and quality expectations while collaborating with all Academy teams to optimize existing technologies. I maintained open communication with senior leadership to address evolving IT needs and challenges, providing support for over 20,000 members globally, 300 annual academic meetings, webinars, and conferences, and a staff of 70. Additionally, I oversaw the creation and maintenance of comprehensive IT documentation, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), network diagrams, and Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies to ensure seamless operations and preparedness for unforeseen events.

In August of 2010 the IT department was restructured when the IT Director resigned giving my position full responsibility for the department’s budget and staff.
