Mr. Eberts currently oversees Client Services in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska for the North America business unit of CDM Smith. In this role Eberts leads Client Service Leaders located in the region and interacts with clients on projects. He is also responsible for business performance including profit & loss, staffing, and project performance. Eberts also leads the PFAS initiative for CDM Smith. He works closely with a team of clients, regulators, industry leaders, and technical experts to address the impacts of PFAS in the environment and waterways. Mr. Eberts previously oversaw Client Services for CDM Smith in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. Prior to joining CDM Smith, he was Executive Vice President for Black & Veatch and oversaw Water Americas engineering services and construction of all water projects in North and South America. In this role, Eberts and his team managed and led multiple departments and approximately 1,000 professionals.Prior to managing Water Americas, Mr. Eberts was the Executive Managing Director for Black & Veatch’s Asia Pacific water business, which included 12 offices in six countries. While in the Asia Pacific region, he also served on several Alliance Leadership Teams and Joint Venture Boards overseeing major water industry programs totaling over US$1 billion in value. Through his long association with CDM Smith and Black & Veatch, Mr. Eberts has also held senior management roles on many major projects and programs including the full secondary expansion of the city of Los Angeles Hyperion Treatment Plant, a 15-year, $1.1 billion wastewater treatment and reclamation project, which was named one of the ten most outstanding public works projects of the 20th century by the American Public Works Association.Through these experiences Eberts has gained strong insight into the Americas, Asia Pacific and European water industries. He is a regular guest speaker at major water events, delivering keynote addresses and presentations at multiple national and international conferences.
