Responsible for the management of all activities during the tender offer process for international corporate savings schemes. This included responding to RFP’s, market surveys and preparing beauty parade presentations. While building strong relationships with clients, advisers, international sales and CRM teams, I managed the global pipeline report, drove regional sales activities and identified cross sell opportunities. Working within strategic targets for growth and profitability, I negotiated mutually agreeable pricing structures. I also carried out territorial risk assessments, produced management reports and ensured there was an efficient handover to the implementation team. When clients had non-standard requirements, I assessed viability and initiated projects to provide mutually beneficial solutions. Primarily responsible for managing a department tasked with the opening and maintenance of all brokerage accounts for several hundred multi jurisdictional funds. This involved building excellent commercial relationships with over 200 major banks and brokers while reviewing and negotiating their terms of business. It was essential that terms of business were commercially viable while ensuring all company secretarial, legal, operational and credit related issues were accurate and acceptable. Trading requirements spanned all main, emerging and frontier markets and included; prime brokerage, FX hedging, commodities, derivatives, options, shorts, swaps, CFD’s, equities, bonds, give-up’s and various strategic investmentsWhen I had capacity, I also took responsibility for the following projects and tasks:• Incorporated, launched, restructured and dissolved numerous BVI OEIC’s• Updated fund prospectuses and restated Memorandum & Articles of Association• Coordinated various U.S. Withholding Tax documents for several hundred funds• Produced quarterly board reports, monthly management statistics and procedure notes• Monitored counterparty risk relating to all banks and brokersKey Achievements• Originally hired to manage the brokerage accounts for GAM’s BVI funds and within 2 years I took responsibility for centralising all brokerage accounts for GAM’s US, UK, Irish, Swiss & HK funds• Never missed any critical deadlines or caused any material errors and consistently met & exceeded objectives / targets• Successfully lead projects in several jurisdictions while managing staff and reporting requirements• During the wind down of GAM Administration Ltd, I managed a project to transfer my department's responsibilities to regional legal teams while ensuring continuity of efficient service
