Responsible for all technology operations, which included leading iContact’s product development, quality assurance, security, project management, management information systems (MIS), data center operations, systems engineering, build and release management, technical infrastructure and production application support. Partnered with the Chief Architect to create the vision and roadmap for improved scalability and increased performance via technology innovation and web-oriented architecture. Was a member of the Advisory Board since 2006 and served on the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the strategic vision of the company. Managed 10 direct reports with 110 indirect staff located nationally and overseas.Founded in 2003, iContact is a venture-backed, 250+ person SaaS company based in Morrisville, NC, that provides on-demand software that simplifies email and social media marketing. The iContact product is the leading email marketing platform used by over 70,000 companies worldwide ranging from small businesses to blue chip clients like International Paper, Ford, Bank of America, Super 8 Motel, Symantec, Re/Max, United Colors of Benetton, Nissan, and LG Electronics. Company successfully sold in March 2012 for $172MM.

Direct all global engineering functions for the company, which encompasses product development, quality assurance, data center operations, international product platforms, management information systems (MIS), project management, and facility management. Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, which sets overall vision and strategy for the company that are continually reassessed to maintain relevance in a rapidly changing industry. ChannelAdvisor is the leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) company helping online retailers maximize and optimize their online sales through search engine marketing (SEM), e.g. Google, MSN, and Yahoo!, comparison shopping engines (CSE), and marketplaces (eBay, Amazon.com, and Overstock).

Accountable for all global technology operations, including the management of technical data centers located throughout the US. Ensured highly available, secure, and redundant data center and network operations. Oversaw web services and hosted data center environments. Conducted continual process improvements and reengineering to heighten productivity and reduce costs for the departments of data center operations, data integrity, technical support, and MIS. Orchestrated all Oracle Financial applications for the MIS department, including CRM, entitlements, budgeting, and HRIS. Supervised 40 staff across different departments and locations.

Coordinated 35 IT architects and 60 support staff across global locations (60 sales/engineering offices, 9 design centers, and the corporate headquarters), as well as an annual budget of $28M, in delivering user-friendly IT services to the entire organization. Supported global R&D and business operations by providing IT solutions and ensuring continual operation of large-scale LAN, MAN, WAN, Telework, and Wintel infrastructures. Developed global IT strategies and a comprehensive vision that encouraged new approaches to technology.

Led 45 staff in developing and implementing global IT strategies and maintaining all IT operations for 28 international locations. Served as Chairman of the Architecture Board and a member of the IT Leadership Council for entire Rockwell International Corporation. Administered an annual budget of $10M.
