- Project development in mid to large multi-PI, cross-disciplinary proposals to multiple funding agencies (NSF, NIH, DOE, DoD) focused on fundamental and applied chemistry with relevance to energy, medicine, and environmental sustainability.- Proposals to federal agencies and private foundations focused on increasing underrepresented graduate student and post-doctoral applicants, their recruitment and retention through collaboration with local Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions.- Advisor to the Graduate Committee for Professional Development, a student-run group focused on creating events that broadly expose graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to professional opportunities in chemistry.- Direct leadership and oversight of 11 full-time employees operating departmental core research laboratories specializing in nanomaterials characterization and fabrication, electronics engineering, big data analysis, mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance, and x-ray crystallography.- Departmental construction liaison on laboratory and building renovation projects totaling $43.5M which included re-envision the undergraduate teaching laboratory, creating modular laboratory spaces, and full HVAC and electrical switchboard replacement in a high-rise laboratory building.- Develop, oversee, and serve as point-of-contact on departmental safety initiatives and policies, most recently creating and coordinating departmental COVID-19 prevention policy with the broader university.- Laboratory space visioning, management, and oversight over 6 laboratory buildings totaling 113,184 sq ft.

- Develop shared-use analytical instrumentation laboratories that build collaboration between universities and industry- Part of the management team responsible for identifying new opportunities that apply chemistry solutions to global challenges- Help promote organizational projects associated with water filtration, waste water treatment, counterfeit drug detection, educational program curation, and developing shared use instrumentation laboratories- Engage a network of international students and professional volunteers in projects that focus on bettering the human condition
