During my past experience as a teacher in the Detroit Public Schools, various Charter schools in the Metropolitan Detroit area and other public schools in the Metropolitan Detroit area, I have experienced a vast array of individuals in need of assistance and have acted on that need to help improve the lives of thousands of people.Specialties: During my work as a science teacher in the Detroit Public Schools, I motivated students to delve into their own inquisitiveness to find new approaches to improve their education. One technique that I used was to write rap music which the students used to write their own science words to (with my guidance) which helped them successfully pass standardized science tests. These students performed this "science rap" music in front of other students to make learning about science fun and exciting!
