The Law Offices of Ralph J. Schumann has developed concentrations in Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts), Real Estate (Commercial and Residential), Business and Corporate Law, and Litigation. Ralph Schumann has recently been named a “Top 10” Leading Lawyer - Real Estate. Early in my career, after completing my judicial clerkship for an Illinois Appellate Justice, I became an associate with a mega-firm representing mostly large corporations -- focusing hard on improving their bottom lines. Even the interesting rippling of water in a glass on the desk of my swaying 80th floor office, however, could not distract me from the lack of fulfillment. I knew I wanted to work with and help individuals facing legal challenges in their daily lives. My priorities have now led me to work more with individuals and smaller businesses.
