CurrentFrom 2009 to 2017, Ralph oversaw and had hands-on in the production of original content for Valley TeleCom Group's "Community Channel One" and three dedicated school district TV channels as part of their digital cable broadcasting system, producing an average of 150 to 200 new TV shows every year and helped the company to achieve a National TeleChoice Award for local TV content . He has also been in charge of managing content for the company's website during the same time frame. Web content has consisted of graphics, video and text. All of these duties have been performed as part of Valley's marketing efforts where he reported directly to the company's Marketing Director. With the ending of TV Services and Channel One going off the air, Ralph's focus has been directed towards company and customer-based communications and news using video, animation, graphics and some coding while still maintaining the web site including oversight of an all new site launched in December of 2019. He is also fully immersed within Valley's marketing activities going forward.Valley Telecom Group serves an area of over 10,000 miles with service to rural and remote customers in 22 communities throughout both Southeastern Arizona and Southwestern New Mexico providing High-Speed Internet, telephone and broadband services over both fiber optic and copper networks. Valley Telecom Group also provides Business Networking Solutions as well as point to point digital transport for voice video and data via fiber optics to wholesale customers from Tucson, AZ. to El Paso, TX. through their own network. Valley Telephone Cooperative (VTC) is the foundation and a major part of Valley Telecom Group. VTC is a non-profit company that also sponsors many educational activities and community events as part of their community outreach and commitment. Valley Telephone Cooperative began serving their local area in 1962 with landline telephone service.
