Two suggestions for sending me a connection invitation. * One, don't bother if you don't have a profile pic because I don't think you understand the LinkedIn tool. * Two, make it clear why we should connect. LinkedIn is not Facebook. I don't see the value in a connection with someone I don't know and have never worked with. If you don't know how to do this in LinkedIn (it is trickier than it should be), send me a comment on my website (below). I hold a doctoral degree from the George Washington University in Human and Organizational Learning Program: http://gsehd.gwu.edu/executive-leadership-doctoral. My dissertation topic was understanding how learning is experienced in really challenging seminars called Tough Cases. Tough Cases are theorized as a way to help people become experts faster. More info is available on my blog, www.ralphsoule.comI am seeking a university teaching position or opportunities to do more tough case or adult learning research.I have been a senior engineering and project manager coordinating complex activities to support nuclear ship overhaul and construction. I led the Navy-team that delivered both USS George H.W. Bush and USS New Mexico. I have extensive nuclear carrier and submarine overhaul experience and was the Reactor Officer aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower during its refueling overhaul, setting the standard for safe operations and testing. I expertly managed the USS Nimitz Refueling Overhaul, responsibly executing a budget of almost $2B. I have studied extensively in the fields of engineering, human reliability, safety culture, leadership and management, and high-reliability organizations. Specialties: nuclear maintenance and building Safety Culture w/High-Reliability Organizing practices. I am a skilled mentor and like to assist others with their professional development.
