UHD New Student Orientation is designed to meet the transitional and academic needs of all incoming students

Campus Activities Board (CAB) provides a valuable service to the UHD community. It is CAB's goal to meet the diverse needs of the student body by offering a variety of educational and entertainment programs. The Campus Activities Board although a programming committee, changing lives. MISSIONCAB plans, promotes, and produces a variety of student centered programs that are educational, cultural, and social in nature. CAB enhances the social setting and campus culture at UHD and the greater Houston area. CAB recruits and retain student members and provide opportunity for all students to build and develop leadership skills and long lasting friendships.

BSA serves to establish a bond between students, faculty, administrators and the Houston community to promote the development of educational opportunities and to increase awareness of black culture. BSA provides a central forum for open dialogue of the political, spiritual, cultural, economic, social and academic conditions in the community.
