Oak Learning Trust is a multi academy trust which currently runs three primary schools in Washington in the North East of England. It is looking to maximize the potential of each child that comes under it's umbrella and deliver a world class education to every child in its care whilst making school great fun. Oak Academy Trust is looking to take on further schools who are ambitious to improve in the North East.

The object of this Charity is to advance the education of the public in the life, work and times of the Venerable Bede by supporting and assisting the charitable work of the World According to Bede Museum.

I was the principal Director of the multi-award winning chartered accountants Thoburn & Chapman Limited. Thoburn & Chapman Ltd were awarded the North East 2010 Independent Firm of the Year at the Northern Accountancy Awards and followed that up by being Runners Up in 2011. In addition, Thoburn & Chapman have also been shortlisted nationally as the Best Small Accountancy Firm for the last FOUR years in a row,2013, 2012, 2011, and 2010. A fabulous achievement.
