PoliticsThe Government Affairs Committee assists the Board of Directors of the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce in determining the policies in government that benefit our members and society. Members of the Regional Chamber Government Affairs Council (GAC) volunteer their time and talents to oversee the focus of our government affairs initiatives. The GAC considers important legislative issues affecting the state and region and recommends action by the Regional Chamber Board of Directors. The Council also provides direction in formulating the Chamber’s Public Policy Agenda and hosts political update events throughout the year featuring federal, state and local government officeholders and candidates.

Assisting the company principals in developing their software product and start-up enterprise.

In 2012 I was contracted to design and project manage the original light renovation of the defunct Choffin Horticulture Center into the new Choffin Aquaponics program. After the initial success of the system is was decided to further renovate the facility and program so as to more fully serve the needs of the students and community. Again, I was contracted to provide the overall management of both the renovation and educational programs.In 2017 after completing the exterior building replacement (glass with polycarbonate) through a series of grants I had acquired; we were successful in finding a qualified instructor for the facility. In completing this phase, I had fulfilled my goals and transitioned out of the process.

Aquaponitech designs and produces technology for the growing field of Aquaponic food production.We were instrumental in the development of the Youngstown City School's new Choffin Aquaponics Institute. Re-developing an on-campus facility, the Choffin Aquaponic Institute was the first of its kind in the state of Ohio. High School level students began to attend. The first class size was 25!Under the aegis of Aquaponitech, I was the System Architect and Project Manager for the facility/program.

Fyrware LLC., a Youngstown Business Incubator company, creates software tools for software developers and software entrepreneurs. I was responsible for all activities involved in the setup and founding of the company as it developed and began the launch of its first product. My role was as a start-up specialist, to essentially manage the business side while the talent created a product. It was for a specific time period ending with the launch of the project management software product called Empowr™. It was unfortunate that after leaving, watching Empowr was like watching The Beatles at the group's end, Empowr suffered greatly from talent dysfunction as they literally allowed their team to dissipate until they no longer could support what was a successful Minimum Viable Product.

Mahoning Youngstown Regional Information SystemProviding managerial and development expertise. Wrote grant application for founding grant and assisted in the process of implementing the project plan.

This enterprise was a seminal work dedicated to securing the cyber infrastructure of local, regional and state governments across the United States. Among the earliest of clarion calls for action on the cyber-fronts. I completed the prototype planning for the project and the document "Secure Data Centers for America" and saw to its distribution in both government and commerce on the Federal and State levels.

Starting in 1995, with the original incorporation in 1996, cboss was a company founded with outside investors and my services through Universe Central Corporation. I directed the founding and operations of this company from concept to an established successful company in the business of providing software to government. I provided the day-to-day top management: sales and product decisions, technology decisions, budget decisions. people decisions, direction of the company, all the interesting stuff! Included overall management, sales management, oversight of all people, projects, systems and software products developed.

Worked with the program and financial audits at a very low level. Generally I acquired and assembled information from the audit subjects, for professional review by superiors. Learned proper presentation of information. Was later involved in financial audits of county political parties, travelled mostly eastern Ohio.
