The European Citizen Action Service (ECAS) is an international, Brussels-based non-profit organisation with a pan-European membership and nearly 30 years of experience. Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. With more than 13,000 members, the Global Shapers Community spans 430 city-based hubs in 150 countries.As a member of the Bucharest Global Shapers Hub, I focused on coordinating projects that supported vulnerable girls access to digital devices. I have joined Future Makers competition as mentor for innovative start-ups for 2 consecutive years. I have also created a dialogue space in the hub for topics such as discrimination and racism at local and global level.

The Young Leaders Program gathers each year 20 high profile regional young leaders with a clear two-fold goal: to promote and advance progressive leadership within society; and to develop the regional network of Aspen Fellows, based on shared values and common interests. This Program is designed for people who have the potential, interest and determination to exercise leadership to the highest standards of civic and corporate responsibility and according to the ethical values on which Aspen is based.The Program addresses people between the ages of 25 and 35 having achieved significant professional positions and accomplished results within their area of activity. Candidates should have demonstrated leadership potential, a record of initiative and entrepreneurship and a proven civic interest. Candidates are selected from the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.

Erasmus Exchange Program (February – July, 2008): Awarded a grant to study at the Faculty of Political Science „Roberto Ruffilli” based on academic excellence and extra-curricular activities

The Knowledge Economy Project - supported by the World Bank - was implemented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in 255 poor communities in Romania through out 2007 and 2008. The objective of the project was to accelerate the participation of knowledge disadvantaged communities in the knowledge-based society and economy in Romania.Tasks:• Offer consultation and support to 255 mayors from the project communities in the selection process of two employees for the Local Electronic Networks (computer networks serving as knowledge centers that provide information and services to local authorities, schools, public libraries, citizens and small businesses);• Analyze, organize and centralize the recruitment documents resulted from the selection contests organized in the mayoralties of the 255 communities;• Contribute to the elaboration of the training documents;• Offer administrative assistance in the training process of the selected staff from 255 communities involved in the project (project management and IT)• Issue data and reports on the Human Resources component of the project.
